Water purification, an emergency

With 3.6 million deaths per year, diseases linked in one way or another to the insufficiency or even the absence of drinking water are even the leading cause of death in the world.

Diarrhea, cholera, malaria, typhoid, to name the most frequent ailments caused by unsanitary water, first affect children : among these 3.6 million victims, 3 million are under 15 years old, of whom 2 million die. from 0 to 5 years old.

The global infant mortality situation is therefore dire, with a child dying every 7 seconds according to new mortality estimates released by WHO, UNICEF, the United Nations Population Division and the Bank Group. global.

On top of that, you need to know more. As a reminder, the La Fontaine de Vie does not treat chemically contaminated water. This is why, for each project to order a La Fontaine de Vie, we have the water from the source to be treated analyzed by a laboratory sworn by the national authorities.

Chemical pollution concerns nitrates and phosphates contained in pesticides, human and veterinary drugs, certain household products, paints, heavy metals (mercury, cadmium, lead, arsenic, etc.), acids, as well as the hydrocarbons used in industry.

A water source is considered polluted when the pollutant rates described above are constant (accidental pollution is excluded).

In cases where chemical pollution is proven, Sana Vivo informs all the competent authorities, local, regional and and of course refuses to sell a fountain of life since, even free from any bacteriological pollution by our system, the water remains totally unfit for human consumption.
